Rule of Law

Tsamota’s staff have worked in “rule of law” environments, such as with the International Criminal Court, the UN mechanisms established such as the ad-hoc International Tribunals, Special Courts and International Investigation Commissions, and within Federal and State national legal systems. They have worked extensively with local individuals, agencies, organisations and indigenous government departments in arenas where the rule of law has broken down.

Staff have extensive experience of all functions within such legislative frameworks, conducting investigations, surveillance, intelligence gathering, local, national and international liaison, civil society training, criminal, military, political and threat analysis, computer forensics, scenes of crime management, legal case preparation, trial preparation, prosecution and defence representation in trial and representation in the appeals process.

Tsamota offers extensive experience in environments where the re-establishment of the rule of law is the objective. Its staff have worked extensively in post-conflict societies in the development of a stable and secure environment, working to re-establish the law to protect the basic rights of all members of a society equally and impartially, without regard for ethnicity, gender or political allegiance.
